The Dinner Edition is the original DinnerMatch format: a social dinner evening where you meet new people over different courses in different homes across the city.

The Dinner Edition is for people who want to meet others in real life and experience a different kind of evening. You can join as a team of two — with a friend, colleague, partner or anyone you enjoy spending time with. It is also possible to join individually, and we will match you with someone so you can take part as a pair. You do not need to be single.

You join as a team of two and stay together with your cooking partner throughout the evening. From course to course, you change locations and meet different cooking pairs at each stop. At every home, three teams come together — so six people per location. Across the dinner route, you usually meet around 12 people. Afterwards, everyone from the DinnerMatch evening comes together at a bar, where you can continue the night and meet even more people beyond the groups you already shared dinner with.

Each team usually prepares one course, but it is not about cooking skills or perfection. The focus is on the shared experience, good conversations and a relaxed atmosphere.

Everyone joining is part of the same DinnerMatch experience and also contributes to the evening. This creates a balanced and respectful setting.

The dynamic changes throughout the evening because you meet different people at different stops. And since you join as a team of two, you are never on your own.

Pricing depends on the edition and format. Some early community formats may be free, while future Dinner Editions may require a ticket.
